Hybrid AI / IT Engineer (Fileservice)

A hybrid AI and IT role that builds the tooling and automation behind our Fileservice, so our engineers can focus on the calibration.

We are looking for a hybrid AI and IT profile to support our Fileservice. You build and run the tooling, automation and integrations around a file, from identification and cataloguing to the systems our engineers and customers rely on. You use applied AI to remove overhead, not to make the calibration itself: that stays with our engineers.
About BCC
B&C Consulting is a professional tuning fileservice where every individual file is made and verified by a real engineer. We back professional tuners with real calibration expertise: ECU and TCU tuning, a WinOLS reseller database, mappacks and A2L/DAMOS data, and our own tuning API. Technology helps our engineers work faster and safer, it never replaces the engineer.
What you will do
- Build and maintain the internal tools, integrations and automation behind the fileservice: the portal, the tuning API, WinOLS data and the mappack catalogue.
- Automate file identification and matching, cataloguing and quality-control support.
- Apply AI and LLM tooling to speed up triage, search and documentation around files.
- Keep our systems reliable, secure and well documented.
- Work closely with the calibration engineers to understand what actually helps.
What we are looking for
- A solid software and IT background: PHP/Laravel or a similar stack, REST APIs, databases and Linux.
- Hands-on experience with AI/ML or LLM tooling, and a pragmatic sense of where it adds value.
- Someone autonomous and quality-minded who is comfortable owning tools end to end.
- Good communication. You enjoy working with engineers, not in a silo.
Nice to have
- Interest in or experience with ECU tuning, WinOLS or automotive data.
- A reverse-engineering curiosity.
- Experience with search and indexing, queues and background jobs.
